Best Film on Tour: La Perra - Preview

Best Film on Tour is an original project of Best Film distributor, which opens up space for exceptional cinema and exceptional viewers. Pre-release screenings of great films, meetings with inspiring guests and engaging conversations about the film! On November 3rd at 19:00 we invite you to a special preview screening of the film La Perra. After the session there will be a meeting combined with a discussion panel.

About the film: On a remote, windswept island off the coast of Chilean Patagonia, Silvia takes in an abandoned female and gives her the name Yuri — the one she would choose for her coveted daughter. Their extraordinary bond fills the void left by an unfulfilled desire for motherhood, but also evokes painful childhood memories from which Silvia has tried to escape for years. La Perra is a subtle and moving psychological drama about loneliness, love, rejection and trying to tame the elusive. The film was honored with the Palm Dog Award in Cannes for its unique creation of the canine heroine.
