ABOUT MOVIES: KRONOSHOCK (Ignasi López Fàbregas) ES 2026, 10'

In the heart of a wild valley, among rivers and green meadows, rises a mighty steep rock massif, shrouded in ice. Adventurous Lord Cliffrider dreams of being the first to stand on this pristine peak. However, with each passing day, this vision dissipates like smoke from his pipe. We invite you to a short animation by a Spanish director, known for telling stories with the help of handmade puppets.

LOVING KARMA (Johnny Burke, Andrew Hinton) GB/IN/US 2025, 78'

Grand Prix of the film competition of the Mountain Festival in Ladko-Zdrój 2026

In the foothills of the Himalayas, former monk Lobsang founded Jhamtse Gatsal — “Garden of Love and Compassion” — a safe haven for children affected by trauma. Among them appears Tashi - the youngest, unpredictable and rebellious. The girl rejects every helping hand, but Lobsang sees a hidden potential in her chaos. Loving Karma takes us to Jhamtse Gatsala 12 years after the success of the Emmy-winning documentary Tashi and the Monk. We watch Lobsang, Tashi growing up and a new generation of children building a world based on mutual concern. The center offers a radical alternative — a space where the wound healing process is based on community, love and pure presence.

DISSIDENCE, TWO SHADOWS ON THE WALL (Rama Dio Syahputra) ID 2025, 34'

Distinction in the film competition of the Mountain Festival in Lądku-Zdrój 2026

Two previously unknown names appear on the stage of the World Climbing Championships: Ravianto and Raviandi Ramadhan. The twin brothers from Indonesia go into the world without the support of sponsors, driven solely by passion and big dreams. The documentary Dissidence - Two Shadows on the Wall follows their extraordinary journey — from the climbing walls of their homeland to the legendary rock regions of France. It is a moving tribute to their determination, brotherly bond and courage. Ravianto and Raviandi challenge the status quo and fight to have their voices heard internationally.
