Embroidered vests — Show who you are!

In this workshop, you will design your own vest together and playfully discover how personality can be expressed through colors, patterns and shapes.

A mesh becomes a creative canvas: With colorful threads, beads and child-friendly needles, individual designs are created — inspired by the patterns from the Museum of Islamic Art collection or by your own imagination. While knotting and embroidering, you will learn simple textile techniques and create a unique work of art that you can take home with you.

Participation fee including admission: 15€ per family (2 people), 20€ per family (from 3 people) Limited number of participants. Online booking required.

Remaining tickets are available at the James Simon Gallery ticket office. The family ticket entitles you to visit the museums on Museum Island on the same day. The entrance ticket to the museums can be obtained at the museum ticket offices upon presentation of the participation ticket for the family workshop.
