Winged (5-10 years)

WINGED with Wunchmashine

Experience a sensual and interactive children's show that takes children outside and directly into the wonderful world of birds. With headphones, sound universes, installations and the meeting with the two energetic bird experts, Vibe and Trane, the children are invited on a journey of community, transformation and connection to nature.

The performance takes place both inside and outside, where the children follow the tracks of the mythical creature Gammel Fjer. Along the way, they learn to fly and orient themselves like birds — and experience a guided audio journey in magical tent-nests where the transformation culminates. Eventually the whole herd flies out together before landing and returning as humans... perhaps a little more aware of the world around them.

THE WING combines body, play, sound and imagination in a highly involving form that speaks directly to children's curiosity and need to move. The performance gives the children new perspectives on nature, empathy and community — and on everything that is otherwise easy to overlook.

A poetic, physical and deeply engaging out-of-the-house experience created by WunschMachine.

Starring: Helga Rosenfeldt-Olsen and Christian Adelhorst Rossil. The voice of Gammel Fjer: Jesper Riefensthal.
