Endless

The most popular Polish documentary film of 2026 to be shown abroad! The main prize in Thessaloniki — Golden Alexander, opened the way for him to the Oscar in the category of Best Feature Documentary. This is a deep, tense and hopeful reflection on one of the loudest disappearances of recent years. Daniel did not hear his sixteen-year-old son Krzysztof leaving the house in the morning. He did not know what drew the boy to the bridge over the Vistula — he only knew that it was there that he had been seen for the last time. Since then, Daniel and his wife Agnieszka have lived in a state of suspense: between desperate hope and paralyzing fear. Unable to wait passively for an increasingly unlikely breakthrough in the police investigation, Daniel builds a boat equipped with cameras and drones with the intention of exploring the dark depths of the river on his own. The long, lonely hours spent on the boat become for him a chance to reckon with the life before Christopher disappeared.
