“Bezmatek” is a performance based on the adaptation of the book by Mira Marcinów, with the same title, which was included in the final of the Nike Literary Award 2021, and the author received the 2021 Policy Passport for it.

The show brings to the stage an intense experience of being lost in love and loss. As the director, Patryk Warchoł, says: “Trying to share the experience of the death of the Mother, the absent heroine “The Motherless”, we come across an obstacle: we are immersed in the story of love for Her; about Her absence, memories, our own childhood in the post-transformational reality of the 90s. The death of the Mother contributes to the creation of a poem about Her. A poem in which we lose ourselves in search of her. The show is an attempt to find and understand love.
