Recently, we are increasingly hearing about accidents involving children and young people moving on electric scooters. Some of these events end tragically. This is an important signal that safety, knowledge of the rules and responsibility on the road must be discussed — also with parents and guardians. Therefore, the City Office in Jaworzno, the City Guard in Jaworzno and the Municipal Police Command in Jaworzno invite you to a meeting dedicated to the safety of children using electric scooters. During the lecture, the following issues will be addressed: the regulations in force for young scooter users, issues to which parents should pay special attention, dangerous behaviors and how to avoid them, the consequences of non-compliance.
The meeting will take place on 21 October 2026 at 5.30 p.m. in the Main Library.
Participation in the event is free and open to all interested.
