Brief description of the play - in the pen of its creators:
Indebted to the ears of Signora Prudence, together with a servant, escapes from the debt collector. The son of the late merchant Gonzaga sets out to fulfill his father's last will. Klaudia, Pantalone's daughter, sneaks out of the house before her father's planned wedding. The roads of travelers will intersect in an old inn forgotten by people, which has become the hideout of a robber shack... A relentless debt collector and a desperate father are also approaching its doorsteps. Who will come out of this cabal alive?

The COMEDIANTY troupe presents an adventurous comedy in the style of dell'arte! Brawls, duels, songs, gags and lazzi will fill the intricate intrigue, which will find an unexpected solution!

NATIONAL STAGE OF THE COMEDY DELL'ARTE AT THE PRAGUE THEATRE 52:
Created on the initiative of Teatr Praska 52 and Studio Dono in May 2016, it is the only such stage in Poland offering permanent encounters with art from the sixteenth century. Within its framework, the troupe COMEDIANTY works creating performances according to all the rules of Italian comedy, from real leather masks to looped intrigue full of unexpected twists. This combination of a centuries-old form with contemporary associations, references and insights makes this art not only current, but above all extremely attractive.
