Library offer for seniors

We invite you to take advantage of the library's offer of classes, meetings, courses and workshops for Seniors, which take place in the main building of the library at 11 Franciszkanska Street. Participation in meetings is free of charge. Due to the limited number of places, registration is required.

DISCUSSION BOOK CLUBS

Meetings of the Discussion Book Club for students of the Sądecki University of the Third Age are held on the first Tuesdays of the month at 9.30 in the reading room (1st floor). The next meeting will be on November 3, 2026. We will talk about the book “After Dusk” by Haruki Murakami.

Meetings of the second group of the Discussion Book Club take place on Monday afternoons in the lobby in front of the reading room (1st floor). The next meeting will take place on 19 October 2026 at 17:00. We will talk about the book “Krakowianki” by G. Alicja Zioło.

LEARNING ENGLISH

The English course — basic level — continuation of the group, led by a qualified tutor, takes place on Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:00 in the historic basements of the library (resumption of the group after the holiday break from November 2026).

Meetings of board game lovers and amateurs of creative and logical thinking take place on Thursdays from 14:00 to 16:00, in the historic library cellars (level -1).
