Bielska Chamber Orchestra - ALLEY OF STARS

“Avenue of Stars” - a musical tribute to those who have passed away. The Bielska Chamber Orchestra will create a unique, atmospheric musical and visual setting. With the sounds of harp, string instruments or saxophone, our Music Lovers will be invited to the world of the greatest hits of Polish and foreign artists.

The velvety and delicate sound of the orchestra will introduce us to the mood of November and autumn reverie. The hosts of the evening, as a year ago, will be exceptional singers who our Bielska audience loved - Joanna Smajdor and Kamil Franczak. To the invitation of the Artistic Director of the orchestra - Mateusz Walach - they also responded positively: Łukasz Talik - a singer from Bielsko-Biała and an exceptional actor - Kacper Kuszewski - endowed with an unusual voice and vocal talent.

The repertoire will include works by S.Soyka, Z.Wodecki, F.Sinatra, M.Fogg and many others.

Kamil Franczak - Singer, actor and songwriter. Winner of festivals and music awards. He made his debut in Opole in 2010 with the band Zero Procent, with whom he released two albums and played hundreds of concerts between 2004 and 2013. In 2011-2012 he co-hosted the youth program “Level 2.0”, broadcast on TVP2.

He made his theatrical debut in 2011, with the role of Moritz Stiefel in the musical “Spring awakening” at the Entertainment Theater in Chorzów. Since then, he has played leading roles on this stage, among others, in musicals “Producers”, “Sweeney Todd”, “Sunday in the Park with George”, “How to Succeed in Business Without Trying Too Hard” or “Cabaret”. For his role as the Master of Ceremonies in the latter title, he received the Golden Mask 2019 artistic award and the Dziennik Teatralny Award.

In 2022, under the pseudonym FRANKY, he released his first solo album titled “#lubiecie”, and the song “lustracja” was honored with the Grand Prix at the XVIII Carpathia Festival in Rzeszów (2022).

In 2023, in the role of Brita, he appeared in the play “We Will Rock You” at the Roma Music Theater in Warsaw.

He currently performs in many musical projects, touring regularly throughout the country.

Łukasz Talik - He comes from Bielsko-Biała. A graduate of the State Vocal and Acting Studies at the Danuta Baduszkowa Music Theatre in Gdynia. While still in college, he appeared in musicals “Fame”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Footloose” and “Kiss Me Kate”.

He has collaborated with W. Gombrowicz Municipal Theatre in Gdynia, Powszechny Theatre in Radom, Ateneum Theatre, Rampa Theatre and Studio Buffo Theatre.

He has performed in plays such as “Piaf”, “Zorba”, “Rent”, “Carmen Latina”, “Transatlantyk” and “Polita”. At the ROMA Music Theatre and the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic he played the role of Raoul in “The Phantom of the Opera”. He collaborates with orchestras and philharmonies in concert projects on musical and film themes. In 2018, he performed in the spring concert tour of Accantus in cooperation with the Karol Namysłowski Symphony Orchestra. He works as a voiceover, dubbing actor and session vocalist.

Asia Smajdor — singer, author of music and lyrics, graduate of the Faculty of Jazz and Entertainment Music of the Academy of Music in Katowice. For years, she has been associated with the music scene, collaborating with many Polish artists, orchestras, big bands and bands. Over the years, she has shaped her musical path, drawing on different styles — jazz, soul, pop, gospel and rock.

This year, she began a new stage of her artistic activity, presenting author's material. With her own songs, she appeared in the program “Must Be the Music” reaching the final. Her debut single “Skybar” began the solo journey of the artist.

Kacper Kuszewski - actor, singer

He was born in Słupsk, but spent his childhood in the Tri-City and here, on the boards of the Gdynia Drama Theater (now the Municipal Theater) he took his first steps on stage. He was then 6 years old. He played his first big role (Gavroche) at the age of 13 in the Polish premiere of the musical “Les Miserables” (“Les Miserables”) at the Musical Theater in Gdynia directed by Jerzy Gruza.

Great popularity was brought to him by the role of Marek Mostowiak in the TV series “M jak amour”, in which he has been playing since 2000. He also gained the sympathy of viewers by appearing in the TV show “How They Sing” (2008), where he reached the final episode. Dancing with Anna Głogowska, he won the 13th edition of “Dancing with the Stars” (2011). He won in the 8th edition of the program “Your Face Sounds Familiar”, thanks to which he became the jury of the next edition, replacing Bartek Kasprzykowski. He also has several film roles (“Zone of Silence”, “Charles, the Man Who Became Pope”, “Screwed”) and in the Television Theater.

Kacper is also engaged in pedagogical work. In 1999-2003 he was Anna Seniuk's assistant at the Warsaw Theatre Academy, and in 2009-2012 he taught ensemble singing as part of the Master of Arts course implemented by Teatr Piesń Kozła for Manchester Municipal University. He currently teaches this subject at the London School of Performing Arts Practices in London.

He is also often involved in social and charitable activities, including for several years he has been an ambassador of the Foundation for Assistance to Families and Patients with Cystic Fibrosis MATIO. It also supports the actions of the Noble Pack action and the Save the Life Foundation, which helps patients with a rare genetic disease, sanfilippo.
