Bielsko-Biała with painted embroidery — exhibition opening

Colorful threads, precise stitches and an extraordinary wealth of patterns — on November 5, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Bielsko-Biała with Painted Embroidery”, presenting the works of the Beskidzkie Embroidery Companies and the Embroidery Group in Preisnerówka. Both work under the supervision of Beata Grim — Master of Embroidery and instructor, who passionately shares her knowledge and love for this unique art.

The exhibition is not only an opportunity to admire beautiful works, but also a story of passion, patience and joint creation. Each embroidery is the result of many hours of work, care and imagination, and at the same time a personal story written in colorful threads.

A passion that connects generations and people

Beskidze Embroidery Machines was created in 2024 on the initiative of participants of workshops organized by the Regional Cultural Center. In turn, the Embroidery Group in Preisnerówka was established in 2025, during a summer workshop devoted to the basics of embroidery. Today, both groups meet regularly, develop their skills and implement artistic projects together.

Their instructor, Beata Grim, began her embroidery journey as a self-taught. In 2019, she began her studies under the supervision of Krystyna Duchniak, and in 2023 she won the title of Master of Embroidery at the People's University of Artistic Crafts in Wola Sękowa.

For the participants, however, embroidery is much more than an artistic technique. This is a way to calm down, take a break from everyday life, develop patience and creativity, as well as build relationships and mutual inspiration.

The exhibition “Bielsko-Biała with embroidery painted” is a beautiful testimony of how a common passion can bring people together and lead to the creation of extraordinary works.
