Behind the artist name Applause hide the two friends Malte Bach Jensen and Max Le Maistre Matzen, who since they were very young have found freedom and creativity in music together. After an impressive start with several highlights, Applause is now ready for a new course with new music.

Bifald's Danish-language lyrics spring from an honest and sensitive place in the two friends, whose music is a fusion of R&B and electronic pop, inspired by their shared experiences and great emotions. Like a clap salve, their music is both impulsive, powerful, fragile and present.

Applause's debut release 'Putting Everything At Play' has achieved several impressive achievements: A-list rotation on P4, an impressive ranking on the airplay chart, over 1 million plays on Spotify and a spot on GAFFA's “They're going to be big in 2025” list. Since then, they have followed up with several releases, including their debut EP, which includes the single 'Fangen i En Drøm', written in collaboration with iconic Burhan G.

Applause's first headliner concerts featured, among other things, a sold-out Ideal Bar. Last summer they could be experienced on several festival stages, where they reaped a 5-star review from GAFFA.
