JAKOB BRO “DEAR MARILYN” WITH BILL FRISELL, CHARLES LLOYD, CRAIG TABORN, LARRY GRENADIER & JORGE ROSSY FEAT. JAKOB KULLBERG, HENRIK DAM THOMSEN & TOKE MØLDRUP (EN/US)
The program on December 1st is dedicated to an icon in Danish music. Guitarist Jakob Bro has composed a work in memory of and dedicated to Marilyn Mazur, which will be performed and recorded by a Danish-international superconstellation with the following contributors: Jakob Bro, Craig Taborn, Larry Grenadier, Jorge Rossy; a Danish cello trio consisting of Jakob Kullberg, Toke Møldrup and Henrik Dam Thomsen, and soloists Bill Frisell & Charles Lloyd.

SKÚLI SVERRISSON & ÓSKAR GUÐJÓNSSON (IS)
Skúli Sverrisson has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Blonde Redhead, among others, toured with Allan Holdsworth and Ryuichi Sakamoto's band, and played with Wadada Leo Smith, Derek Bailey, Lou Reed and Bill Frisell.

As a saxophonist and composer Óskar Guðjónsson has marked himself as a driving force and a stamp of quality on numerous jazz and contemporary music recordings in Iceland. For the first time in many years, you can now experience this award-winning collaboration on Danish soil in the wake of their duo albums After Silence (2002) and The Box Tree (2012), for which they received Iceland Music Awards.

ZEENA PARKINS TRIO (US)
New York-based electroacoustic composer and improviser Zeena Parkins is a world star and pioneer of modern harp playing techniques. Over a more than 30-year career, Parkins has collaborated with names such as Björk, Yoko Ono and John Zorn. This evening she takes the stage with Lotte Anker and Mads Emil Nielsen.

About Loveland Music Festival
What happens when you bring together a dozen of the leading Danish musicians and international icons and put them on stage together for the first time? That's what the new annual festival, the Loveland Music Festival has set out to investigate on November 30 to December 2 at the Bremen Theater. Over three festival days, the participants are thrown into a collective and spontaneous musical universe at the intersection of ambient, new classical and improvisational music to create an enriching and intoxicating once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone in the hall.
