Anders K. Sørensens has written a book about rediscovering his childhood passion for birds. About both the excitement and the disappointments of going on birding — and about why nature draws in us right now. All told through own anecdotes and reflections, new figures and insights, and not least conversations with other birdwatchers out in the field.
It's about focus and presence in a time when we need authentic experiences that aren't manipulative or manipulated. Experiences in a Danish nature that can still fascinate with both beauty and strength — and create small glimmers of light in an otherwise bleak biodiversity crisis.
Anders generously shares his enthusiasm with lots of stories and photos from hundreds of bird walks.
