Krzysztof Łapiński — philosopher, translator, doctor with a habilitation in the field of humanities, works at the University of Warsaw. He deals with ancient philosophy, Eastern philosophy and ecological ethics. Author of the translation of Marcus Aurelius's “Reflections (to oneself)”, “Stoic Lectures” by Muzonius Rufus and other translations in the field of ancient philosophy. In 2019, he obtained his habilitation on the basis of a book about Marcus Aurelius. Scholarship holder of the Brzezia Lanckoroński Foundation (twice) and the Kościuszko Foundation. Popularizer of scientific research. He belonged to the editorial board of the “Philosophical and Literary Review”. Author of children's books “Dzik Dzikus” (2020, Agora Publishing House; nomination in the Literary Journey of Hestia competition, 2021) and “Malwina Pig” (2022, Agora Publishing House for children; distinction in the Planeta Izabelin 2023 competition). His children's books have been placed on the PS IBBY list and the Alternative Reading List.
