Bloody Tennis | Splat! FilmFest

Sophie, an ambitious young American, arrives at an elite school for female tennis players in the south of Europe. He quickly discovers that a great service may not be enough to survive his studies. The contestants bear traces of suspicious injuries, the demonic headmistress imposes a peculiar diet, and on the court no one cares about the rules of fair play. Here the desire for victory leads to a bloody slaughter. “Bloody Tennis” is a brutal, grotesque horror in the spirit of “Suspiria” and “Phenomena” by Dario Argento, in which the pressure of results and unbridled ambitions turn sports rivalry into a fight to the death. Blood pours in streams, bones crack, and elegant tennis reveals an extremely macabre face.
