Blues at the Goats - Adam Kulisz&Damian Wowra and Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations

October 20 at 6 pm the second edition of our series “Blues u koz”. Adam Kulisz&Damian Wowra and Dustin Arbuckle&The Damnations will perform at the headquarters of the Mikołów OPP (Żwirki and Wigury Street 2). Adam Kulisz pseudo. Boogieman (born 1966) - singer, guitarist, harmonica player, author, composer. Present on the Polish blues-rock scene for 40 years. In the last decade, he has been voted the best Polish blues singer eight times (2025, 2022, 2016, 2014, 2011, 2009, 2007, 2006). Winner of the Jan “Kyks” Skrzek Artistic Award (2025). He has 15 albums, on which he has included more than 150 of his own compositions (blues, boogie, rock, ballads). Together with his projects, he has performed many times at the biggest Polish blues festivals. He also played at festivals in Germany, Ireland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy. He has played thousands of club and outdoor concerts. Muzyka Kulisza hosted on radio and TV. Emotionally connected with Silesia and his family Kobiór. The main formation with which he performed from 2007 to 2022 was Kulisz Trio, which ended its activity in connection with the tragic death of drummer Tomasz Kwiatkowski. In his place was appointed the ensemble Kulisz Blues Session. Since 2021 he has also led Kulisz 4 Rock&Roll. Since 2013 he has been collaborating with the Silesian Blues Group, with whom he recorded the concert Tribut for Janek Skrzek as well as the album LIVE (2025). In 2026, all of his projects will adopt the common name “Faces of the Backstage”. The artist will perform in a duet with Damian Wowra - harmonica virtuoso.

Dustin Arbuckle is one of the most iconic voices and accordionists of the contemporary American roots scene. For fifteen years he co-founded the acclaimed trio Moreland & Arbuckle, with whom he recorded seven albums and played hundreds of concerts in more than twenty countries. In 2017, he went his own way, bringing to life The Damnations, a project in which he was finally able to unleash all his musical fascinations. Dustin Arbuckle's music features echoes of Charley Patton's prehistoric blues, the rock'n'roll heat of the Allman Brothers Band, classic soul from the Stax label and Americana in the style of The Band. He himself describes it as “cross-genre electric Americana” - everything that roots the best in American music, passed through an amplifier and given with a rock energy. The studio albums “My Getaway” (2020) and the concert “Live at the Shamrock” (2024) cemented Arbuckle's position as an unclassifiable artist. Recorded at a legendary club in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas, this second album showcases the band in all its glory — from Mississippi Hill Country's hypnotic trance, to fast-paced Southern rock and swinging Chicago blues, to unexpected jazz improvisations.
