After the success of previous BODY WORLDS exhibitions, such as “The Cycle of Life” and “Vital”, a new edition of this world exhibition BODY WORLDS — PULSE will go to the capital. The exhibition will be presented from April 17, 2026 at Soho Art Center at 63 Mińska Street. To date, the exhibitions of BODY WORLDS around the world have already been seen by more than 57 million viewers.
This unique event will invite visitors on a fascinating journey inside the human body — showing it not only as a biological mechanism, but also as a reflection of our choices, lifestyles and emotions. BODY WORLDS — PULSE, created by Dr. Gunther von Hagens and the exhibition's curator and his wife, Dr. Angelina Whalley, focuses on how daily habits such as exercise, diet, stress and relationships affect physical and mental health. The eponymous “PULSE” symbolizes the rhythm of modern life and the constant ability of the body to adapt and change.
“In a world full of rush and digital stimuli, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to stop and reflect,” says Dr. Angelina Whalley. “We want to inspire people of all ages to better understand their own bodies and to live a more conscious life.”
During the Warsaw edition, nearly 160 authentic exhibits will be presented — including whole human bodies and individual organs donated by voluntary donors as part of the program of the Institute of Plastination in Heidelberg. Realistic plastinates, shown in dynamic and often surprising poses, reveal what remains invisible on a daily basis — the work of muscles, the structure of organs and the complexity of the systems responsible for the functioning of the body. This year's edition has been enriched with new plastinates that have never been presented in Poland before, including spectacular preparations showing the body in motion and in various physiological states — from the figures of athletes, through unique anatomical sections, to moving images of the development of life. The whole is complemented by modern multimedia installations that explain in an accessible way the influence of lifestyle and environment on health, emphasizing the educational and reflective nature of the exhibition.
BODY WORLDS remains one of the most influential and commented science exhibitions in the world. It combines medicine, education and the arts to create an experience that moves, teaches and prompts reflection. It is an encounter with anatomy in its most direct form — an experience in which one looks at one's own body differently than before.
