About the event

Bonobo at a concert in Wrocław! The multi-Grammy nominated artist will be seen with the band on March 16, 2027 at the Centennial Hall!

Pierre Claude, known for his collaborations with Air, Gesaffelstein and Phoenix, is responsible for the visual setting of the concerts.

Bonobo aka Simon Green is without a doubt a legend, not just of the electronic scene. He has billions of plays on streaming services, albums in the Top 5 of the UK sales chart, more than a million records sold, numerous gold and silver certificates for singles. He has collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, and has been nominated for numerous BRIT and GRAMMY awards. For the latter, he received as many as seven nominations, five of them in dance/electronic categories, a result that only a narrow group of artists can boast, including The Chemical Brothers, Skrillex and Madonna.

His pioneering concerts—based on a full band line-up, guest vocalists, and immersive visuals—set new standards for how electronic music can function live. Bonobo has performed in front of millions of people around the world, selling out concerts at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Alexandra Palace and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He has also played at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Sonar and Fuji Rock. The final tour included a co-headlining performance at London's Field Day (alongside Aphex Twin) and a historic, sold-out five-day residency at the Royal Albert Hall — the longest continuous series of solo concerts by the artist in the history of the venue and the longest in the history of electronic music.

In parallel, OUTLIER events and Green's DJ sets keep him at the center of contemporary club culture, connecting different generations of audiences in underground clubs and at festivals. In recent years, he has curated line-ups featuring artists such as Barry Can't Swim, Sofia Kourteza, Salute, Kelly Lee Owens, Mall Grab, DJ Tennis, SG Lewis, Carlita, Elkka, HaAi, John Talabot and Paula Tape. His OUTLIER event at London's Drumsheds for 15,000 people was the fastest selling event of the season. He went on another tour to promote the new album “Distance In Static” released by legendary label Ninja Tune. On the debut album, Green collaborates with an impressive array of artists, including Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis (Hundred Waters) and Aanya Martin. This album is the culmination of more than 25 years of activity of one of the most important voices of contemporary electronic music.

“I want to emphasize the idea that you can act in more than just one dimension,” Green explains. This duality — between the concert artist and the DJ, the introspective composer, and the creator of music aimed at the dance floor — is at the heart of Bonobo's work. All his albums and concerts allow us to interact with music full of depth, detail and emotion; at the same time beautiful and energetic.

After excellent Polish performances in 2022 and a memorable, sold-out concert in Warsaw in 2017, we will see it again in March!
