Divine!

Florence Foster Jenkins. Worst singer in the world. The first lady of a descending scale, a generous star and a generous legend. Deprived of talent, but full of passion and determination. And with the right amount of money... Where did the Divine phenomenon come from and why did her performance at New York's Carnegie Hall come to see thousands of people? To laugh or to express admiration for the “triumph of enthusiasm over talent”? This true story has inspired people for years to make their dreams come true no matter what the obstacles. Because, as you can see from the example of “divine Florence”, any failure can turn into success. If we want to.

Peter Quilter's play is one of the most famous comedies of modern theater, and its film adaptation brought the unforgettable role of Meryl Streep. The production prepared by Tadeusz Łomnicki with Grażyna Bułka as Florence, with the creations of the title character created by Gosia Baczyńska, is an attempt to see the world through Florence's eyes. It is a reality seen in divine colors, immersed in the aesthetics of the camp. A little fairytale, full of fantasy. This is a world where nothing is impossible.
