BOTO JAM: Marek Piowczyk Trio & Guests | jazz jam session

This week the host of our Thursday meeting is the Marek Piowczyk Trio consisting of:

Marek Piowczyk — guitarZiemowit Klimek — bassWojtek Warmijak — drums.

Among other things, the trio will play material from the original album “Baltic Experience”, which was among the top jazz records of the year 2025 according to the plebiscite organized by the European Magazine Jazz Forum, in which MPT itself in both the individual and group categories was recognized as the New Hope of Jazz. The realization of the album, as one of the few in the country, was awarded by the National Institute of Music and Dance of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Marek Piowczyk Trio is an energizing combination of spirituality and charisma, where improvised jazz music is an expression of devotion to art and sensitivity to the surrounding world. These are sounds embedded in the modern stylistics of electric compositions. The freedom of interpenetration of musical genres, openness to change guarantee the Recipients musical experiences on a spiritual level. This trio is a double winner of Jazz Top 2025.
