VOTE SLAM SESSION

Thanks to the co-financing of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the “Cultural Education” program, the BOTO Theater is opening a new series of events dedicated to poetic and performative creativity. From July to December, once a month, we invite you to a workshop developing literary and stage competences and BOTO Slam Session — an open poetry slam.

What is a slam?

Poetic slam is a competition in which participants present their own texts in front of an audience. Each person has 3 minutes to delight, move, amuse or surprise listeners. It is the audience that decides who will advance to the next rounds and ultimately win.

Why is it worth it?

BOTO Slam Session is not just a competition. It is an open stage for writers, a space for creative expression and meeting people who believe in the power of words. Whether you've had a lot of gigs behind you or are just pulling text out of a drawer, you'll find a place to share your work, gain stage experience and become part of the local poetry community.
