BR BAND (Bogdan Rumiak Band) is a natural continuation of the present for many years and perfectly known in

the blues environment of the band Mr. Blues. The central figure of the lineup is Bogdan Rumiak — a native of Żor

guitarist, singer, songwriter, blues enthusiast, promoter and organizer of many concerts and

festivals, such as Rybnik Blues Festival and currently Żorski Amok Blues.

The work of the band consists primarily of original compositions and texts based on a modern combination

blues, funky and rock'n'roll. During the concerts we will also find pure blues own songs, as well as

other performers in new, often surprising arrangements. The group's concerts are characterized by

vivacity, daring solos of each instrumentalist, excellent energy and interaction with

by the public. An additional advantage of the band is the presence in the composition of Hammond organs, which with the blues

They are inevitably associated, but they rarely host on Polish stages in full.

The band has played many concerts in the most important Polish blues festivals in its history, including

Rawa Blues Festival (twice Mała Scena), Suwałki Blues Festival, Blues Express, Podlaski Blues Marathon,

Żorski A-mok Blues, and in the most important blues clubs. The band has also performed for

abroad (Czech Republic, Slovakia) and is one of the most touring blues bands in Poland, and Dziennik

Zachodni described them as “one of the most interesting Silesian blues bands”.
