Brauseboys: Goodbye 2026

Another year has passed by: For two decades, at the turn of the year, the Brauseboys have been looking back on the year that they watched and commented on intensively in their weekly reading shows. Now, at the end of 2026, Thilo Bock, Robert Rescue, Frank Sorge, Volker Surmann and Heiko Werning are once again sorting through their memories.

Forty plus x — were these the temperatures in summer, the survey figures for the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt or the water levels of the Rhine in micrometers? When will Trump send the new aircraft carrier “Gianni Infantino” into the Strait of Hormuz and will Katharina Reiche become a surrogate mother for the rebirth of the coal stove? Wouldn't Timmy the Whale have been much better off in Berlin's Volksbad and when do they drag the exhausted Merz to Kattegat to release him into freedom? As soon as there is water under the keel again, the shower boys sail off and pass the year 2026 in the hottest waters in history.

About the Brauseboys:The Brauseboys are a reading stage founded in Wedding, they have been reading out their texts every Thursday in Berlin since 2003 and have not let pandemics or wars stop them. Her current home is the “House of the Senses” cultural stage in Prenzlauer Berg.
