WITCHCRAFT

There are few deathgrind bands as charismatic as the Mexican Brujeria. The group, which has been operating since 1989, has based its image to a large extent on controversy, in addition to its extremely charged music. Their debut was extreme enough that many distributors withdrew from collaborating with them, on the other hand one of the tracks, “Matando Güeros '97", was used in Harmony Korine's film “Gummo”.

Brujeria is definitely one of the top brands on its scene. The line-up included musicians At the Gates, Faith No More, Fear Factory, The Haunted, Carcass, Cradle of Filth, not to mention Shanie Embury of Napalm Death, who has been associated with the band since the early years of its activity. The upcoming concerts will also be an opportunity to commemorate Juan Brujo and Pinche Peach - two key musicians for the band who died in 2024.

In March 2027, Brujeria will tour Europe in the company of Criminal, led by vocalist and guitarist Anton Reisenegger, also associated with the Mexican band. The Chilean thrash/death metal legend has nine albums to his credit, the latest of which, “Sacrificio”, was released on Metal Blade in 2021.
