The only recurring metal event in the region — the Brutal East Festival returns after a break. The silence lasting several years is a harbinger of a violent sonic storm, which will be the 12th edition of the festival.

There will be bands that have never performed at this event before. The first of them is death metal ASHUR from Łódź, which has two albums immersed in the darkness of Sumerian and Akkadian mythology. The group consists of experienced musicians known for, among others, IMPERATOR, SACRIVERSUM and TENEBRIS. ASHUR's performances are magical, scenographically refined performances, during which forgotten Middle Eastern gods regain their power.

Another band is black metal band MYR, which debuted in 2025 with “Helvegen”, mixed and mastered at Sweden's iconic Necromorbus Studio. (including MAYHEM, WATAIN, FUNERAL MIST, DESTROYER 666, VALKYRJA). And although the Norwegian-Polish MYR is a debutant, it consists of experienced musicians, supported at concerts by drummer Konrad Zubrzycki (CINIS, ex-HERMH, ex-ABUSED MAJESTY).

The star of the 12th Brutal East Festival evening will be AZARATH, who returns to the stage with a new cruel album “Scorn Eternal” (premiere - November 2026). The eighth full-length album in the discography was recorded with a very strong line-up: Inferno (dr; including BEHEMOTH, TERRESTRIAL HOSPICE, WITCHMASTER), Bart (g; ARMAGEDON, ex-DAMNATION), Peter (bg; ex-LOST SOUL) and Skullripper (voc & g; including EMBRIONAL, HELLFUCK).
