Bulgaria — a delight written in the fabric. Journey through flavors, smells, colors

On 9 October at 17:00 we invite you to Branch No. 9 of the Jerzy Pilch MBP in Kielce, 9 Okrzei Street, for a meeting with Anna and Tomasz Chałaciński. Guests will tell what a trip looks like, which does not end with the unpacking of the suitcase. The theme will be Bulgaria. Admission is free.

There are trips that end with the return home. And there are those that stay.

In the smell of spices. In the taste of something that was not known before. In the colors of the landscape that cannot be forgotten. In the details of old towns, architecture and everyday life.

And sometimes... they stay in the fabric.

Ania and Tomek Chalatinski went to Bulgaria and did not expect that they would return with such delight. They brought with them not only memories, but also fabrics that captivated them with color, pattern and unusual history. Today in the Studio under Chestnut they get a second life — they turn into small and bigger things, utilitarian and unobvious, but always with a touch of Bulgaria.

It will be a story about a place that can surprise you. About tastes, smells, landscapes and monuments. And about the delight that you can take home with you.
