The spiral of action in this video leads us to very different and interesting issues to discuss. Who is a celebrity and what changes have occurred in the cult of celebrities since 1999? Who are we? Is being yourself a value in itself and what does it actually mean to be yourself? Why do we want to be someone else, why do the lives of others seem so attractive to us? What does the film say about a job that seems so absurd? The film inspires to talk about the “I”: is there any real, stable “I”, or are we rather a collection of roles, desires and perspectives? The portal to Malkovich's head then becomes not just a joke, but a literal depiction of the question: what would happen if we could dwell for a moment in someone else's consciousness.

HIGH/LOW CORTISOL

A new, original film series in which we will consciously swing between genres, themes and tension. Films will be selected in the key of high cortisol — action, tension, distrustful and critical attitude towards the world and low cortisol, i.e. bittersweet films, full of humor, tenderness, ordinary-unusual stories and human emotions, at which you can smile, move or just have fun.

Each film tells one and a million stories at the same time. Each of us perceives the world a little differently, reacts differently and has a different palette of associations and thoughts and this is the most interesting and often escapes when we have no one to talk to about what we have just watched. Together we will experience meetings that will tear us out of our own bubble of perception of the world. They will make us learn something about ourselves and awaken critical thinking.

Marta Kożuchowska, the host of the series, invites you to brainstorm and emotions - a film expert and Internet creator, known under the name O_oezu, who for many years has been dealing with widely understood pop culture, film and commenting on reality in her own unique way.

Meetings within the cycle are held once a month.
