The festival in Jarocin was a generational event. In the 1980s and at the beginning of the next decade, he formed a whole host of Poles. It became a platform for the expression of views, a platform for the exchange of ideas. And all to the rhythm of independent music, which became the main vehicle of the rebellion.

With the series of concerts “Once upon a time Jarocin” we decided to recall not only those ideas, but above all the music, artists and bands who, thanks to the festival in Jarocin, have become part of the Polish rock scene and an important element of our culture. With their performances, they refer to concerts from years ago while paying tribute to them.

Already in the middle of December 2026, within three days you will see and hear on the B90 stage both the winners of the Acapulco Festival, Closterkeller, Farben Lehre, Gaga, Karcer, Kobranocka, Proletaryat, Stiff Pal Asia, The Bill, Zielone Żabki, as well as bands that have had a huge impact on Polish music, such as Abaddon, Armia, Illusion, Collaborators, Quo Vadis, Roses of Europe, Sedes SexBomba, WC. On the other hand, the legendary Lech Janerka will play for the last time in the Tri-City, and at the same time the last concert this year!

Thanks to the films reminiscent of the festival, you can feel the atmosphere of this magical place and those times even more strongly. The concerts will be conducted by Leszek Gnoiński, a music journalist, co-creator of the Polish Rock Granary and the film “Jarocin, po co wolność”.
