It's been snowing. Rita and Crocodile are going tobogganing. On the hill, they meet Boris, who challenges them to the toboggan race. But the hill is high and steep and Rita does not dare to quite drive. She blames Crocodile and throws him off the toboggan.

It's Christmas soon, and the mischievous banter Soffi is making a fuss at night. Josefine gets ready for Christmas by baking Christmas cookies and writing a wish list, but even though it's Christmas soon, there's still a lot of other things to do on the farm. The family must expand the stock with cuddly bull calves, which must be slaughtered and turned into delicious steaks once they have grown large enough. And then new, little chickens have arrived on the farm.

In a snowy forest, the hungry fox, Mikkel, looks for food. When Mikkel comes across a house — and not least the chicken coop — he is sure that he can now satisfy his hunger. But the chicken coop is being protected by a leprechaun. The elf puts Mikkel in a difficult dilemma: Should he accept the elf's offer to share a portion of porridge, or should he herd a few chickens while the elf is not looking? In the end, it turns out that good deeds often bring more with them.
