A cabaret evening for everyone whose heart has ever been broken — by love, history, politics, institutions, nations, art or hope. Between performance, drag, dance, music, poetry and political absurdity, Berlin artists come together in the “Vessel of Love.” Against cynicism, isolation and exhaustion, “Cabaret Heartbreak” focuses on wit, lust, glamor, defiance and radical tenderness.

In a present where despair increasingly determines our political and emotional realities, the stage becomes a temporary haven: a space to laugh, grieve, fantasize, scream together — and stay together a little longer.

With “Buttox Antiphon”, ABA NAIA brings an alternate song about egoism, self-assertion and the prick in and around us. Alvin Collantes meets his drag persona “Bibingka” in an intimate ritual between staying and going, grieving and becoming. Werner Hirsch alias Antonia Bähr explores the cry as sound and form, rhythm and gesture. Ariel Efraim Ashbel takes the weekly Torah reading, Parasha, as the starting point for a performative examination of Noah's Ark and the Tower of Babel. Cassie Augusta Jørgensen's “Hamletta” moves through grief, transformation and the choreography of the domesticated body. Faravaz gives voice to experiences of exile, freedom and self-determination. In their mixtape tempo musical performance, Liina Magnea and Finn Ronsdorf alternate between familiar archetypes and enemy images. They embody these characters in a humorous and punky way, only to take them apart again in the same move.

Thelma Buabeng and Olympia Bukkakis will guide you through the evening. They hold together what's left of a broken heart.

There are two marked parking spaces in front of the house. Access to the parquet floor is possible via a separate entrance with lift. Barrier-free sanitary facilities available.
