Call Me by Your Name

Musical Elio at 17 is taking summer holidays in northern Italy with his parents. Elio's father is visited by his 24-year-old American research assistant Oliver. The chemistry between the two young men is immediate and an affair begins to blossom.

The summer of 1983 not only becomes memorable, but also leads to a sexual and emotional revelation for Elio. He is convincingly played by the then very young talent, Timothée Chalamet, who, with the love drama and especially its touching closing scene, got his big break. The master of romantic dramas, James Ivory, is behind the script, which is based on a novel by André Aciman.
