About the event

Romanticism at its most moving — full of passion, drama and extraordinary beauty. On January 14, the Cavatina Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to an evening with music that has delighted for generations with the power of emotion and timeless expression.

The concert will open with an impressive overture to Giuseppe Verdi's opera “La forza del destino” — a work full of dramatic tension and operatic momentum. Then there will be the Fryderyk Chopin Piano Concerto performed by the outstanding pianist Mateusz Dubiel, whose interpretation will reveal the subtlety, lyricism and virtuoso brilliance of the music of the greatest Polish composer.

After the break, we will hear the monumental 6th Symphony “Pathetic” by Piotr Tchaikovsky — the last completed work of the composer and one of the most moving achievements of symphonic music. It is a poignant tale of human emotion, full of contrasts, dramatic turns and deep reflection.

The orchestra will be led by Stanley Dodds, an esteemed conductor and outstanding violinist, known for his extraordinary musicality and charismatic interpretations, whom the Bielsk public always warmly welcomes during the concerts of the Cavatina Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert takes place under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała Jarosław Klimaszewski, emphasizing the importance of the event and its importance for the cultural life of the city.

This is a special evening for all lovers of great music — from Verdi's operatic boom, through Chopin's poetic world, to the poignant emotions of Tchaikovsky. Meeting with masterpieces of romanticism that invariably move and inspire subsequent generations of listeners.
