The artist consistently speaks of her works as paintings, despite the fact that they are created from fabrics, embroidery and patchwork applications, abundantly decorated with sequins, artificial pearls or plastic stones. The material does not perform a useful function here. It becomes the material of the image: it allows to build successive layers of representation, saturated with color, light and meanings, which the artist, as she herself emphasizes, would not have been able to achieve in a classical painting medium.

The presented works are created intuitively, without sketches and prior plans. The compositions emerge gradually, guided by the rhythm of sewing, gesture and associations that appear in the creative process. Titles are often not born until its end, when the images begin to reveal their own narrative. Snakes, roosters, tongues, pearls, eyes or female figures form here not so much a closed system of symbols as an emotional and intuitive language of images. All works are strongly autobiographical — the artist treats them as a record of her own experiences, emotions, fears, desires and internal transformations.
