Can you describe what love feels like? Or do you simply find love embarrassing?
A question mark is looking for answers in things of love. On his search, he meets a cloud that floats around the room in love, a scratched hormone, a strawberry that loves sweets, and frustration. They get to know each other, get close, bend to please themselves, or melt away at the sight of each other. Because how does that work with love? Who else looks through here when the feelings go crazy?
After “Das Spiel”, “Chaos der Gefühle” is Rachel Rosen's second piece for the parkaue. With lots of humor and dedication, it tells of self-love, the courage to ask questions and the curiosity to find out what you really love. And the heartbreaking songs by Louis Edler, written especially for the piece, are guaranteed to be catchy.
The piece “Chaos der Gefühle” and the associated lyrics and compositions were created in the 25/26 season as part of the “Love Lab” project, in which disabled and non-disabled artists worked together on the subject of body, love and sexuality for a young audience.
“Love Lab” was funded by the Federal Cultural Foundation's Zero — Climate-Neutral Art and Cultural Projects program. Sponsored by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
