Charlotte Pelgen - WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT

Charlotte Pelgen is a singer and ukulele player and has long since established herself on stages and especially on the international Ukulele scene with swing from the 1920s and 30s. Now she's presenting her own songs!

They are poetic, personal stories — sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes thoughtful — carried by the rhythms and harmonies of the early 20th century, interspersed with subtle humor and the depth of the chanson, and influenced by the melodies of European folk.

What prejudices the ukulele still faces today are easily resolved in Charlotte's playing: Her bright soprano and her large, velvety sounding baritone Ukulele prove to be versatile, fine instruments that provide the perfect timbre for her songs.

The new album by the Cologne-based artist by choice is called “My Rain” and will be released on October 16, 2026.
