Chicxulub, or The Devil's Flea

With Chicxulub or The Flea of the Devil, ensemble member Dominik White Slavkovský creates a dance piece for children aged 6 and up and those adults who are not afraid of bizarre encounters with dinosaurs, over-excited characters and a colorful fictional world. The focus is on a young prince and his sister, who flee from their everyday lives into a parallel digital world. There, they not only meet a group of modern superheroes, but also encounter a mysterious devil and a prehistoric dinosaur, both of which cause a lot of chaos. But this video game world is not a safe haven, unwelcome news soon gets through to them, and the siblings must decide how to deal with the challenges of reality. The plot takes you from classic fairy tale motifs to outer space, combining elements from comics, computer games and adventure films to create a fast-paced choreography. In the end, it's not about running away, but about surpassing yourself together, taking on challenges and asserting your own place in a complex world with imagination and courage.
