The Horyzont Sztuki Foundation in Łódź The play “Chłopcy” talks about the radicalization of young men. The script they wrote themselves in emails and messages on the dig, it is based on their confessions, stories from their lives. The future text of the drama was spoken to us by representatives of political organizations and pick-up coaches. The show is an attempt to enter the developing male psyche — a very demanding place. It is aimed at young audiences because it touches on issues that affect their generation in a special way: loss, fatherly relationship, the need to belong and the search for identity in a world devoid of stable patterns. It aims to investigate the mechanisms of radicalization of young men, not demonizing them, but trying to understand the sources of frustration and aggression. The premiere of “work in progress” was realized as part of Sopot Non Fiction festival.
