Boys from the Plaza de Armas

“Boys from the Square of Arms” is a story that has delighted and touched readers all over the world for more than 100 years. The gripping story on the boards of our Theater will turn into a full-scale musical. The adaptation of Ferenc Molnar's novel and the direction of the play will probably be handled by the most important musical creator in the country: Wojciech Kościelniak. His most famous productions include “Hair”, “Doll”, “The Witcher” and “Chłopi” at the Music Theater in Gdynia, “Kombinat” at the Musical Theater in Poznań, as well as the latest production of the Capitol Theater in Wrocław, i.e. “A ship flows”.

What will the story of Nemeczka, Boka and the Red Shirts look like in the perspective of Wojciech Kościelniak and the actors of the Chamber Theatre in Bydgoszcz? It is indescribable. This is a must see.

Attention! During the performance, bubbers are used.

The play Chłopcy z Plac Broni received the Jan Kiepura Award in the category Best Performance for a Young Spectator in the 19th edition of the music awards at the Mazowiecki Musical Theatre in Warsaw.
