Omul is an eleven-year-old boy who lives with his parents, brother Mikro and sister Kimi in a village by the sea. He is not an ordinary eleven year old. When the sea beast, the mythical Sadumea, steals the soul of his younger sister, Omul knows that the only salvation is a journey to the cold end of the world. Thanks to an unusual amulet, he will acquire the gift of talking with animals.
