An evening of music for saxophone and choir, where sacred masterpieces by Byrd and Victoria are reimagined in a new world of colour and sound. Alongside these familiar works, the programme opens into a rich landscape of contemporary music, featuring Alec Roth and Lucy Walker, as well as new works by Charlotte Harding and Iain Farrington. The journey then takes an unexpected turn with Farrington’s arrangements of two Gershwin favourites: Someone to Watch Over Me and Summertime.
