Chorzów Alternative Stage in the Stage under the Stairs - Concert under the Stairs OCTOTANKER AND WET STICKY BANDITS

Octotanker is a Wrocław, five-piece band drifting somewhere between stoner rock, doom metal, grunge and psychedelia. They combine the weight of low-tuned guitars with the mystique of the lyrics, spicing it all up with a fair amount of cosmic departures.

Their debut album was released in November 2025. The album entitled 'Voidhopper' garnered positive reviews and was very well received - including The Obelisk, Doomed Nation, Twisted Pulse Reviews UK, Stereo Life, Rockmetal.pl, SztukMix, Wrota Krypty, Portal Vinylowy, Tylko Rock; articles and interviews with the band were also published in Knock-Out Z Metal Nation (USA), Mexican Metal En Tu Idioma and Suprema Aristocracia. The singles promoting the album were broadcast in broadcasts and podcasts both in Poland (including AntyRadio (Made in Poland), Radio 357 (Turn on the Noise of Łukasz Dunaj), Radio Kraków Kultura (Hour of Break), Radio LUZ (Fuzz), Radio ProRock (W zimnej Toni) or Radio Kampus (Melodie Mgieł Nocnych)), as well as abroad (including Miscreant Machine by Nick Giles on Rock Radio UK, on the air of Canadian Insane Realm Radio, Argentine El Gordo Metalero or Metal Crash Radio from the USA).

In January 2027, Electric Witch Mountain Recordings will release another release of the group - the five-track EP Servants, which will include four original compositions and, for the first time in the history of the band, a cover. The album was recorded in August 2026 at Electric Witch Mountain Studio, under the supervision of Kamil Ziółkowski, and mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg. As in the case of 'Voidhopper', the EP will be accompanied by an author's comic.

The band consists of experienced musicians, with experience on both small and large stages - for many years performed as PRÓD. Under this name they released two full albums ('Lot' (ed. Music Is The Weapon) and 'Octotanker' (ed. Galactic SmokeHouse)), an EP titled simply 'Current' and a split with AecaSAR. They performed at SLOT Art Festival, Gruzilla Festival together with O.D.R.A., Spaceslug and Major Kong or a secret location psytrance event, in the middle of the forest, in an underground bunker complex, shared club scenes with Somali Yacht Club, Cosmic Dead and many others. All these activities met with a very good reception, also expressed in reviews, publications and interviews (e.g. Metal Hammer).

Wet Sticky Bandits are a three-piece band from Częstochowa, moving in strongly guitar atmospheres of grunge and heavy rock. The band consists of: Przemek Ziębacz (guitar, vocals), Dominik Ostrowski (drums, vocals) and Kacper Janicki (bass).

In 2025, the band recorded a mini LP “Wrath”, which is available on Spotify and YouTube. The collection of Wet Sticky Bandits also includes a live album and the first demo from 2006 — recorded back when the musicians were taking their first steps as a band while living in London.

After a few years, the musicians returned to Poland, and the band suspended its activities for a while. In 2021, they managed to reunite and return to playing together. Since then, Wet Sticky Bandits have been touring extensively, primarily in their hometown.

The band had the pleasure of opening twice the concerts of Paweł Małaszyński and his band Cochise. The musicians also performed several times with the band Man in the Box, which together with Juan Carlos Cano, winner of The Voice of Poland, performs grunge covers of Seattle bands from the early 90s.

Joint concerts with Man in the Box included, among others, a performance at the iconic Semafor club in Skarżysko-Kamienna and participation in the Silesian Grunge Festival in Leśniczówka.
