Chris MacDonald comes to Bremen Theatre with his new lecture
Look forward to a thoughtful and humorous evening when Chris MacDonald in a brand new talk once again puts a sharp focus on the health of Danes. And no, it is NOT about eating broccoli, but about something much more important: how relationships between us humans are the most important thing for our well-being and well-being.
In this talk, Chris MacDonald takes the audience on a journey into the science of being human in a world marked by evolutionary mismatch — where our modern lives do not fit our inherited biology and psychology.
Following his bestseller “Not Negotiable,” Chris collaborated with leading researchers on physical and mental health. A six-year research journey led to his forthcoming book “Us,” which points to a simple truth: our well-being begins and ends with how we connect with each other.
This is not a lecture on self-optimization, but a scientific lecture on understanding oneself and others better. When we understand our non-negotiable needs and the mismatch between our biology and modern life, our experiences make more sense and we become better at helping ourselves and each other.
Chris MacDonald is one of Scandinavia's most in-demand lecturers in the field of human health, behaviour and wellbeing. He is known for combining scientific insight with wit, warmth and energy -- and for leaving his audience both wiser and uplifted after an inspiring evening.
