On 29 December 2026, Christian Brøns returns to Pumpehuset — exactly 25 years after he first appeared on stage in the same place
The date marks a very special anniversary for one of Danish pop's most recognizable voices, and the audience can look forward to an evening where both memories and music will be filled.
Christian Brøns really made a name for himself in the early 00's with his debut album 'Du Kan Gave Hvad Du Vil', which went straight to number one on the Danish album chart and stayed there for 23 weeks. The album achieved platinum with 80,000 copies sold and at the same time was rewarded with awards such as New Danish Name of the Year and Danish Pop Release of the Year.
The title track 'Du Kan Hvad Hvad Du Vil' quickly developed into a modern classic and received both “Lytterhit of the Year” at P3 Guld and “Danish Single of the Year” at the GAFFA Awards — a song that still gathers audiences across generations.
Since his debut, Christian Brøns has released several albums, including 'Back to the beginning' (2002), 'Turist' (2006), 'Det sig' (2010) and 'Under the Surface' (2012), and built up a strong back catalogue of songs with which many Danes have a relationship.
The anniversary concert in Pumpehuset will be a look back at 25 years on the Danish live stages, where Christian Brøns has played unforgettable concerts with presence, storytelling and good music. Tonight he is not alone — he has his band with him, and together they create the setting for a concert where energy and community are at the center.
The audience can look forward to an evening when the immortal hits are allowed to come alive again — from the first notes to the final chorus, where the hall gathers in unison.
