Pressure, Dola

Katowice Pressure was created with one goal: to create the most shocking and intense musical climaxes imaginable. Stylistically, it is a mixture of post-rock, orchestral music and trance jazz, with inspirations oscillating between bands like the Swans, Fire! Orchestra and GY! BE, and music by H. M. Górecki or Arvo Pärt. Saxophone, violin and keyboards combine here with seemingly incongruous, overdriven bass and frenetic percussion, resulting in extremely colorful and varied sounds: from improvised, psychedelic ambience, through classically understood harmony, to rhythm-driven, ostinate sound walls. Presently, Pressure is promoting its latest, released on September 19, 2025 [angry noises].

Dola is a band formed in 2018 in Poznań/Toruń. The trio creates music based on such genres as avant-garde black metal, ritual ambient or sludge, but also reaches for electronic or jazz elements. The band debuted in 2020 with an unexpected debut album titled simply “Dola”, and only a year has come to wait for the successor to this work - the equally well-received album “Czasy”. Both albums were released on their own sump by the band and then reissued at the end of 2022 by Piranha Music, with whom the band teamed up for a long time. After a successful tour with Ampacita and well-received performances at, among others, Summer Dying Loud and Red Smoke Festival, Dola focused on creating new music. Three more years of nightmarish dreams and no less nightmarish waking were recorded in the sounds of the Suffering Studio in autumn 2024, resulting in the album “Tabernacle”. The musicians in the new material follow their distinctive, genre-independent path, creating another soundtrack to experience the end of the world. As part of the promotion of the album, the band played another successful tour of the country and appeared at numerous festivals, including Mystic Festival, Hells Bells Festival and French Rock In Bourlon.
