CLOSTERKELLER (+ Atma)

On the occasion of the**30th anniversary of the album 'CYAN**', Closterkeller announces a unique project that includes the new release '**ReCyan**' and the concert tour '**Recyan TOUR 2026**'.

'ReCyan' - is a newly recorded version of the album 'CYAN', thanks to which the album will be released again on CD after many years and will also be released on streaming services for the first time.

'ReCyan TOUR 2026' will include almost 30 concerts during the concerts we will hear not only songs from “CYAN”, but also the most important compositions from all of Closterkeller's achievements, including from last year's album “ARGENTO”.

About CYAN:
30 years ago, Closterkeller released an album that became a symbol of artistic courage, exploration and openness to new sounds. “CYAN” was not an attempt to repeat the success of the records “VIOLET” (1993) and “SCARLET” (1995). Instead of following expectations and the fashion for playing harder and harder, the band consciously chose their own path, creating an album that, after three decades, still sounds fresh and remains for many fans one of the most important in Closterkeller's oeuvre. “CYAN” opened up completely new musical spaces for the band - full of analog synthesizers, atmospheric compositions, electronic inspirations and a characteristic magnetic climate.

Closterkeller's fifth album brought the track “Power”, which reached the top of the legendary Top Three and to this day remains one of the band's most recognizable tracks, and its message has lost none of its relevance over the years. “CYAN”, however, is above all an extremely diverse album - from dark, monumental compositions such as “Silence in Her House”, to the industrial-post-punk “Hourglass”, to the surprisingly hit “Promised Land”.

The title “CYAN” on the one hand means a computer shade of blue, and on the other - a highly poisonous chemical compound with an insidiously pleasant smell. This duality perfectly captures the character of the album - beautiful and dreamy, but also about toxic feelings, anxiety, transience and emotions that can fascinate and poison at the same time. Just listen to the title track or the moving “Rapunzel”, this time without a fairytale happy ending.
