Coals - magic tour

The Coals, or Kacha and Lucassi, are a duo that in a decade has gone from DIY recordings on YouTube to the stages of international festivals (including Primavera Sound, Eurosonic, Positivus, Iceland Airwaves) and collaborations with the loudest names in alternative music. Since their debut in 2017, the duo has become synonymous with Polish indie as such and continues to evolve further and further. Mixing languages, genres and numerous guests from the local and foreign scene, the Coals create something that seems unlikely on the current music scene — they create their own language, proposing the music of the middle at the junction of pop and avant-garde.

During the concert tour organized by MIH Agency, the duo will present both new material and well-known songs from previous albums.

The special visual setting of the events will open the door to a new universe created by the team after a two-year publishing break. On stage, they will be accompanied by the sounds of bass, guitar and flute, for which the duo's longtime session musician, Bobbkovski, is responsible. “Magic” is an impressionistic, pictorial and symbolic disc. It's intimate and rhythmic, almost like dancing alone in a room at night. Nothing here is what it seems!

The export goods of the Polish alternative scene look inside and foreshadow an experience closer to the waking dream than to the classical concert convention. Dissociation is becoming the new meditation, and few things capture the feeling of being cut off from reality better than the combination of electronic sounds and the ethereal voice that carries around the hall. This is the best time to say that you listened to Coals before it became fashionable — it will soon be too late.
