Cory Wong

Pure guitar magic with Cory Wong in VEGA

Cory Wong is a true guitar virtuoso. His style of play oozes excess, and he can move his fingers on the fretboard faster than his own shadow. The formidable, Grammy-nominated guitarist, producer and songwriter's popularity curve is steadily rising.

Also at home, where in recent years he has given sold-out concerts in Store VEGA and Poolen with his exquisite blend of 70s funk, vintage soul and fusion jazz.

And Cory Wong can't get enough of Denmark! Thus, he will follow up his concert in Denmark at the beginning of 2025 with two concerts on 13 and 14 December at Store VEGA.

Here he takes the stage with his new album, Lost In The Wonder, which was released in April.

On the new album Wong shows completely new facets of his overwhelming musicianship, which in addition to an impressive solo career has also resulted in collaborations with Jon Batiste, The Jonas Brothers, Bruce Hornsby, Chromeo, Billy Strings — and last but not least a stint as a regular collaborator for the popular funk band Vulfpeck, who named one of their most famous tracks “Cory Wong” after him!

Live there's a party guarantee when Cory Wong performs. He himself describes his role on stage as a hype man on a mission to give the audience the best possible concert experience, so that is laid in the oven for two unforgettable evenings when he occupies Store VEGA on December 13 and 14.
