“Sanguma's breath. Papua New Guinea”, is a travel-educational lecture combining anthropology, reportage and reflection on human rights. During the trip, they talked with residents about everyday life, the problems of local communities and the changes brought about by globalization, neo-colonialism and the influence of external cultural patterns.

It is a story about one of the most culturally and naturally diverse places on Earth, a country that is captivating but at the same time facing rapid social, economic and environmental transformations and stereotypes that still shape the way it is perceived.

The lecture is based on the experiences of a three-month expedition, which is part of the reporting activities conducted by the authors in the Amazon and Oceania. One of the main themes of the expedition was the presence of ancient traditions, rituals, beliefs and practices, including those related to magic and witchcraft (sanguma), in the modern life of the community. The authors also documented environmental changes, particularly in the context of the expansion of Chinese and Western mining companies.
