Wonderful. Scaffolding of the world

“Wonderful. Scaffolding of the World” is an original visual and musical performance inspired by the history of the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Częstochowa and the history of Jasna Góra. It is a theatrical story about memory, faith, community and a man who constantly tries to find his place between facts, legend and personal experience.

The scene resembles a renovation space — an unfinished temple, a storage room of memory, a place where history still continues. Among scaffolding, light, multimedia projections, music and movement, the actors guide the audience through the successive stages of the journey of the Miraculous Image. The narrative juxtaposes historical facts with questions about the meaning of memory, the meaning of symbols, and man's place in history. The play does not give ready-made answers, but invites us to reflect on what remains when the story ends.

“Miraculous” is a story of reconstruction — image, memory and man. About scars that are not worth hiding, because they remind us of the road we have traveled. And about the light that appears even where everything seems to be still under renovation.
